SUMMER ACTIVITIES CAUTION
Keep in mind that thunderstorms spring up in the afternoon, usually after 2 pm. An early start to hikes is recommended. And ALWAYS bring a jacket or sweatshirt as the weather changes suddenly. USE SUNSCREEN. Remember you are anywhere from 7,000' to 14,000' above sea level and the sun is much more intense than you realize. DRINK LOTS OF WATER. Some people experience high altitude sickness; drinking plenty of water will help you stay hydrated.
